Welcome to Fort Augustus Cricket Club
We are a village club located in the beautiful Scottish Highlands on the shores of Loch Ness. Our home ground is situated within the grounds of The Highland Club in Fort Augustus, a lovely town famous for it’s Caledonian Canal Lock Ladder on the south western end of one of the most famous bodies of water in the world. Not many teams have the chance to play on a home ground as picturesque as ours.
FACC is currently part of the NOSCA Reserve League and accepts players of all abilities. If you are interesting in playing for us, you can contact us using the form on this website. You should also feel free to turn up to our next training session to introduce yourself and we will get you going with both the bat and the ball.
Depending on fixtures we currently train twice a week:
Wednesday: 4.30pm to 7pm net session (Starting 21st April)
This is a drop in session (all are welcome) for anyone looking to practice their batting or bowling. During the season this is our main training session.
Sunday: 12.00pm to 3.00pm squad training (Starting 25th April)
Whenever there are no scheduled games we hold a squad training session instead. Everyone is welcome to drop by, this is where we try and incorporate more team based training into the session.
We are very lucky to play on one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the country. Situated as it is in the grounds of The Highland Club, we are surrounded by picturesque views of Loch Ness.
As a club we are fortunate to have a number of local sponsors who support the club and help us to develop. Click the logos below to visit their websites.
The Santon Group are our main sponsor and through their generosity we have been able to grow and thrive as a club. We have the best cricket ground and facilities in the highlands and it has only been made possible through the support of The Santon Group.
